Residents of London's Leyton neighbourhood have crowdfunded the overhaul of an entire block on their local high street, recruiting designer Camille Walala to decorate it with a large-scale mural in her colourful, signature style. Called Walala Parade, the piece stretches across the facade of eight different buildings, reportedly making it one of London's largest public artworks.The final design was voted on by the local community and paid for using £40,000 raised as part of an appeal by east London street art collective Wood Street Walls

Danish architecture studio 3XN has revealed the aptly named Berlin Cube office block alongside the River Spree and the central railway station in German's capital city. Built on Washingtonplatz in central Berlin, the standalone office block is shaped like a cube with faceted glass facades. Globe Metro light by Cyril Dundera for Lasvit

The distinctive tiles of Prague's metro stations served as a visual reference for local designer Cyril Dundera when creating his Globe Metro light for Lasvit.The pendant consists of a glass sphere with a series of concave indentations, much like the those that grace the rows of aluminium tiles designed by Czech architect Jaroslav Otrubato in the 1970s to distinguish the stops of Prague's underground train system.

Dorte Mandrup has revealed visuals of a museum in Berlin that will create a backdrop to the ruins of Anhalter Bahnhof station and tell stories of the people who fled the Nazi regime

Slated for completion in 2025, the Exilmuseum Berlin will be built on the Askanischer Platz and also spotlight present-day experiences of displacement.Dorte Mandrup's design has a simple, curved form and is intended to highlight the position of the former Anhalter Bahnhof railway station, from where hundreds of people fled in exile during World War II before it was largely destroyed by bombing in 1943.The station's ruins, which have since become an important monument, will be kept intact and become the focal point of the museum's entrance behind it
